What will happen to these books that you pointed me to, under the LLC? As far as I can see, many of these "awful" books are less awful than some that can be found on the bestsellers list.

Librarians don't get enough respect -- that is a shame. And I agree the article didn't really make any case for why public libraries are supposedly run inefficiently. A lot of private entities don't necessarily run any better than public or non-profit -- some charter schools, and private hospitals come to mind.

From libraries to museums. The participation of a "for profit" organization in an upcoming exhibition at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts is causing some controversy.
