A.B. author Sujatha has launched her own blog to get some "Fluff 'n' Stuff" off her chest. Please check it out.
Sujatha, as readers may have noticed, has a flair for putting a humorous spin on matters that would have many others seething with anger and sarcasm or reeling from panic attacks. She plans to write about seemingly mundane matters which occasionally go unexpectedly awry. Please check out Sujatha's account of her slippery attempts at learning to ice skate and the travails of being a mother to an aspiring ballerina. Happily for us, we won't be losing Sujatha. She will continue to comment on more weighty matters (not that a crashing fall on ice is not serious!) on A.B.
Sujatha describes her plans for her new blogging enterprise as:
"An aspiring Erma Bombeck, with an Indian-American flair, I like to write about the fluff of daily life."
Thanks for the introduction, Ruchira! In fact, you have attained the status of 'Guru' to me, as far as blogging goes. I owe you a lot in introducing me to this mode of expression, discussion and debate.
Again, I knew that what I planned to write on would perhaps not appeal to the main readership at A.B., so decided on a separate small undertaking to test the waters.
To any potential readers,
Welcome to my blog and I hope you will check back again regularly if it appeals to you!

That description makes me think of the Daily Show. Which is, of course, a good thing.

Joe, I assure you that there's nothing remotely political about my ramblings on F-n-S,so the Daily Show comparison may be way off, unless mini-ballerinas and fumbling middle-aged skating newbies show up on the DS.
I'll save the political/current affairs references for my A.B. postings.
Once I'm done with the Nutcracker saga, which promises to rival the School District 'tail' in length, you will hear about our family's adventures in FoodProcessorLand.
