Holocaust Exceptionalism

In light of the recent UN resolution that "urges all member states 'unreservedly to reject any denial of the Holocaust as a historical event, either in full or in part, or any activities to this end'"  and the German bid to make Holocaust denial a crime in all EU countries, Namit at Shunya's Notes, asks some pertinent questions about what the Jewish Holocaust ought to mean to the rest of humanity.
