It is April in Texas and my friend Linda has again sent out some spectacular pictures of wild flowers ablaze in the countryside. This year, there are no surprises among the blooms as there was last year. Enjoy. (click to enlarge)

Odd, Ruchira: the second photo from the left has a signature of sorts in the lower right-hand corner, "Lynn Bauer."

Yeah, I saw that too. Don't know what that means. I got them all from "Linda" who got it from someone else, I suppose. Do you think there could be a copyright issue here? Should I remove that one?

If it's not Linda's, and it is Lynn's or somebody else's, and it hasn't been licensed, e.g., via Creative Commons, then there is a copyright issue. If you search for:
"lynn bauer" photography
...you'll see two or three sites that appear to be generated on the fly, nothing professional. Of course, you can always take down when asked to do so.

That was one of the prettier photos in the set too, I liked that one and the one with the misty background the best.

Pretty! Minneapolis may get a nice summer, but we really miss out on spring.

I'm almost nostalgic for TX looking at these. Almost. Ruchira, you know my grapefruit thing.
On Il Giornale Nuovo, one of the most visual blogs of the 2002-2007 era, the blogger, Mr. H, used to crop images slightly AND credit them, adding that they were there until the copyright-holder asked him to take them down. This covered almost anything that could happen.
