U.S. condemns Iranian pastor's conviction and possible execution (Norman Costa)
This is another reason why the U.S. should abolish capital punishment. We have little moral force when we protest the possible execution of a citizen of another country.

I'm thinking that you might be referring to the recent execution of Troy Davis in Georgia, however that case was very different from this pastor's case where Iran is trying to force him to change his religion. That is one of the fundamentals in a free society so the two cannot be compared.
